The Blessedness of Adoption

Do you ever feel like you just had the best day?  Well, for me, today was so great!  First of all...the weather in Memphis, TN could not have been more gorgeous!  The high was 75 degrees and, the sky was clear and sunny...so pretty!

I got 4 out of our 5 children off to school...my son, Boss, was the last little 'chicken' to be dropped off.  He is 2 years old and attends a sweet little Parent's Day Out program two days a week.  Ahhhh...a quiet house, with only me and our sweet 5 1/2 month old baby girl, Blair Emily.  Blair needed a good baby bubble bath and, I enjoyed caring for her this morning.  While I was listening to my praise music and, getting her all fresh and clean, I had a wave of utter thankfulness hit me.  Thankful for the extreme gift of adoption.  After all, aren't we adopted into God's Kingdom?  What an amazing gift!  Our 5 precious adopted children are straight from heaven...God has blessed us beyond measure.

We spent 11+ years on the whole infertility "crazy cycle"...that was really a hard time in my life! ....but, just like my husband always says, " God is rarely early but never late" and...here we are, 5 SWEET adopted kids later...with a full house!  I praise God for all He has done in our family!

I claim the following verse:  Psalm 113:9
He makes the barren woman (me!) abide in the house as a joyful mother of children.  Praise the Lord!

LOVE this verse!  Love it!!!

Here a few pictures of our sweet Blair Emily...right after her bath this morning...I just can't get enough of her!!!

I hope each of you are doing well!  Thank you for taking the time to read my post.  You all are wonderful!!!!

Hugs!
Beth
