DR. MEG MEEKER- ON PARENTING

I was very blessed to have the opportunity to listen to Dr. Meg Meeker yesterday at a luncheon hosted by PRESBYTERIAN DAY SCHOOL.  She is PHENOMENAL!  I was taking notes non-stop!  Her lecture really ministered to me and, PLEASE, buy ANY of her books right away!  She has SO MUCH wisdom on how to parent boys and girls.  She speaks and writes in a very encouraging and "real" way.  I know you will be inspired! 

Dr. Meg Meeker, bestselling author of Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters: 10 Secrets Every Father Should Know, has spent the last 25 years practicing pediatric and adolescent medicine and counseling teens and parents. Dr. Meeker is the most sought after expert on parenting relationship and instills hope, encouragement and inspiration in parents. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a fellow of the National Advisory Board of The Medical Institute. Dr. Meeker is a popular speaker on teen issues and is frequently heard on nationally syndicated radio and television programs including Dateline with Katie Couric. The Today Show and Oprah and Friends. She lives and works in Traverse City, Michigan, where she shares a medical practice with her husband, Walter. They have four children.
