A DAY TRIP TO GALVESTON, TEXAS

GALVESTON, TEXAS is a beautiful island located on the gulf coast of Texas.  My family and I went there today.  This is a GREAT town and there are many fun activities for children!

MOODY GARDENS.  LOTS OF FUN for the children!
They loved the aquarium and, we saw the entire place in one hour.

2226 61st Street, Galveston, TX 77551.   A WONDERFUL place for lunch!  I dined on a great hamburger!
My husband ordered this great appetizer!  Feta cheese with olive oil and
kalamata olives, served with pita  bread.
A GREAT VALUE!!!!  This catfish plate was from the child's menu.  All of this food for $5.95!

SPRING BREAK! RODEO FUN!

We arrived in Houston, Texas yesterday and, then drove to my home town.  I grew up in a beautiful Texas coast town, called LAKE JACKSON, TEXAS.  A wonderful town indeed! The town is 45 minutes south of Houston.

This picture is featured on the Lake Jackson, TX website (link is above).
This morning, we woke up and headed to Houston for the 2011 HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW & RODEO.  We enjoyed all of the festivities very much! Take time this Spring Break to enjoy time with your family.  You will not be disappointed!
