Our Christmas kitchen is such a great space! There is lots of hot cocoa making, baking, and, good family times around the kitchen table.
Kitchen lamp and buffet, with "Daisy" peering in the window....our 9-month-old boxer puppy.
I Love this! "A Wonderful Life"!
Tin plates on display, behind our stove. I purchased these at Restoration Hardware about five years ago.
A Father Christmas figure....
Our kitchen Christmas tree...this is where I hang all of the kid's ornaments, that they have made in school. This tree may be my favorite! So special!

My Christmas Living Room
Oh Ya'll! I ADORE this season! We are celebrating the blessed birth of our Lord and King! How awesome!!! I love to reflect all month long on the entire year: the blessing of our five children, my wonderful and Godly husband, my friendships, both old and new, my parents, my awesome parents-in-law. I love to think about those in need this season. There are SO many ways to help! My son's school has a neat "Angel Tree" project going on right now. Our local Kroger store has a Salvation Army bell ringer by the front door all month long. My daughter's first grade class is sponsoring a project for a local nursing home this month. Our small group Bible study has "adopted" a 14-year old girl in need this holiday. There is SO much to be done and, so many people who are not as fortunate as we are.
Take the time to hug your children and your family a little tighter this season. Do not be stressed by the commercial-ness of it all ....yes, I just made that word up! =) Jesus TRULY is the reason for this season!
Be peaceful and be still.
Here is my Christmas living room. I wish every one of you could come over for a cup of hot cocoa. Wish you were here!
May your season be merry and bright!
With Flair and Much Cheer,
Beth

How To Make A Hot Chocolate Bar
I was so thrilled last week when my dear friend, Courtney Frazee sent me a picture of her Hot Chocolate Bar. Right in time for the cold temperatures. My children (and, me too!) adore hot chocolate! I am excited to show you how to make your very own.
Courtney's Hot Chocolate Bar: love this!
Supplies:
Hot chocolate mix
Candy canes
Marshmallows
Cinnamon (in a shaker)
Tea bags
Red sprinkles ( to shake on whipped cream)
A tray
One Step: Simply set the items up according to your ideas. ENJOY!
Here is what I came up with and, I am excited to allow my children to sip a cup of warm 'yumminess' after school today...
I hope you will make your very own Hot Chocolate Bar right away! Your family will thank you and, your friends will too!
Merry Merry & Flair,
Beth

Looks delicious! A trifle with caramel and banana bread....
This picture is awesome! I am very "all about" white pottery right now and, this is a great and festive look.
Adorable wrapping idea....with brown paper lunch sacks. See? Once again, another reason to always keep these sacks on hand. *See my post on paper bag luminaries (a couple of weeks ago). =)
